Chalk pastel pencils pair a soft, high-pigment chalk core with a wooden barrel — the matte, blendable laydown of a chalk pastel in a sharpenable pencil. Our range covers 24-color and 72-color sets built on a 4mm core, a larger diameter than standard color pencils, chosen so the soft core survives sharpening, export transit and the drawing pressure that snaps thinner pastel cores. Barrels are FSC-certified basswood on the paper-box set and natural-finish FSC-certified cedar on the tin-box sets, kiln-dried to 8–12% moisture and cut to 17.6cm × 7.5mm around the core (FSC ESTS-COC-251233).
Every color is tested against EN71-3 for heavy-metal migration and screened for REACH SVHC — per individual color, not a blanket certificate across the set. FSC, CE and ISO 9001 documents are available for your compliance file.
