What is the MOQ for custom OEM pencils?
MOQ is 3,000 pcs per SKU for custom pencil orders with logo printing, barrel color, and branded packaging. Stock products without customization can start from 1,000 pcs. Our Qingyuan factory can handle small trial orders alongside larger production runs — a 20,000-piece order runs as a minor batch, not a disruptive changeover.
How long does OEM pencil production take?
Standard OEM production takes 25–35 days after sample approval. Rush orders (15–20 days) are available for simple specifications. Timeline: artwork review (2–3 days) → digital proof (1–2 days) → sampling (5–7 days) → mass production (15–25 days) → third-party inspection → shipment.
Can you provide FSC-certified custom pencils?
Yes. All wooden pencil OEM orders default to FSC-certified basswood or poplar from responsibly managed forests. Our FSC chain-of-custody certificate (ESTS-COC-251233) is publicly verifiable at search.fsc.org. Full FSC documentation is provided with every shipment — essential for European retail compliance.
What artwork file formats do you accept for logo printing?
We accept AI (Adobe Illustrator), PDF, and EPS vector files for logo imprint and foil stamping. For full-color heat transfer designs, provide 300+ DPI raster files. If you don't have a design team, our in-house designers can assist with layout and Pantone color matching at no extra charge.
Can I get free samples before placing a bulk OEM order?
Yes. We provide free sample packs of existing stock products. Custom OEM samples with your logo, custom barrel colors, and branded packaging require a small sample fee that is credited against your first production order. Sample turnaround: 7 days for OEM, 3–5 days for stock samples.
